Even though Marcus Everett Productions is on the production side of the business (often thought of as the enemy), we are also about the people within our industry. We believe that the key points highlighted by SAG-AFTRA and the WGA are not unreasonable. As production professionals, we need to support those within the film industry to protect their livelihood and futures.

We hope that the strikes can be resolved quickly, and satisfactorily, so that we can all get back to work. In this interim, however, here is some more information:
The current strike affects a number of SAG agreements from the Basic Agreement as well as the majority of Low Budget agreements. The strike, however, does NOT affect the Short Project Agreement, Micro Budget Project Agreement, or Student Film Agreements.
if you are thinking about using Marcus Everett Productions for a union project, SAG-AFTRA is offering the possibility to become a signatory under an interim contract. This does two things. It allows the filmmaker to continue with pre-production and possibly principal photography, as well as sends a signal to the bigger studios that make up the AMPTP that there are those willing to support the principals that the unions and guilds are standing up for. We would be more than happy to help you navigate the process and get your film moving forward.
